Stellar Blade director and producer Kim Hyung Tae expresses strong support for mods and is eager to explore them personally.

At a recent press conference in Yeouido, South Korea, Kim shared his views on modding, according to multiple sources. “I wholeheartedly embrace players creating mods. I’m excited to experiment with some of the more innovative ones myself,” he stated.

“I’m thrilled at the prospect of players crafting their own mods and sparking friendly competition to see whose creations stand out. I encourage more players to dive into mod development,” he added.

With the PC version still unreleased, the modding community is already buzzing, with numerous mods available on Nexus for the PC demo, ranging from new skins and reshaders to VR and nail polish tweaks. Several mods, marked as “adult,” remain discreetly hidden from public view.

IGN’s Stellar Blade review gave it a 7/10, noting: “Stellar Blade excels in core action elements, but flat characters, a weak narrative, and some clunky RPG mechanics keep it from ranking among the genre’s elite.”

The PC version of Stellar Blade launches on Steam June 11, boasting PC-exclusive features like AI upscaling with Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, unlocked framerate, Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display support, enhanced environment textures, and DualSense compatibility for haptic feedback and trigger effects. Initially region-locked in over 100 countries, it’s now available for pre-order in more than 250 regions. While no multiplayer mod for Stellar Blade exists, traces of multiplayer elements have been spotted in the game files.
