Application Description:

Experience the ultimate flexibility with the most customizable word search app available.

Discover unparalleled flexibility with the most customizable word search app on the market. Numerous configuration options let you tailor the game perfectly to your device and skill level.

Search for words in English or choose from 35 other supported languages.

Optimized for enjoyable gameplay on everything from compact phones to large tablets.

Tired of seeing the same words repeatedly? Annoyed by searching for obscure, non-English words? Struggled with poorly sized grids? Word Search Ultimate solves all these issues.

Customize the following settings:

1) Grid Dimensions

Set the exact number of columns and rows (from 3 to 20). Create rectangular grids like 12x15.

2) Game Challenge

Adjust the percentage of words placed diagonally, backwards, or vertically. For example, disable diagonal or backward words entirely.

3) Word Complexity

Select the dictionary size, from a list of 500 common words (ideal for learners) up to 80,000 words.

4) Maximum Word Count

Set the number of words to find per game, from 1 to 150—enough to fill a 20x20 grid.

5) Word Length Range

Avoid an excess of short words (a common issue in word games) by setting minimum and maximum lengths. Perfect for creating very hard puzzles (e.g., only 3-letter words).

6) Highlighting Options

Highlight found words or keep the grid clean for easy reading.

7) Word List Layout

Display the word list in neat columns or spread evenly across the screen.

8) Language Selection

Pick the word list language from a wide range of downloadable dictionaries. Currently 36 languages are supported.

9) Screen Orientation

Play in portrait or landscape mode. The display adjusts automatically when you rotate your device.

10) Word Categories

Choose words from specific themes such as animals, food, and more.

This app gives you complete control to play exactly how you want.

Each game is rated by difficulty from 0 (easy) to 9 (expert), based on your settings or a quick selector. Top scores (fastest completion times) are tracked for each level, with the best 20 times displayed.

Additional exclusive features:

1) Two word selection methods: (i) classic swipe, or (ii) tap the first and last letter of the word.

2) Get help if you're stuck—reveal a word you can't find.

3) View word definitions using an online dictionary (requires internet).

4) When playing in a foreign language, definitions appear in your native tongue where possible—great for language learners!

Play this app in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Russian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Indonesian, Romanian, Serbian, Serbo-Croatian, Slovak, Slovene, Turkish, Ukrainian, Afrikaans, Albanian, Azerbaijani, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Catalan, Galician, Tagalog.
