⚫︎ Patch 1.0.12 for Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap has been released, bringing a comprehensive set of crash fixes, gameplay adjustments, and quality-of-life enhancements. This patch tackles various crash issues, including those related to trap placement, game initialization, multiplayer disconnections, and specific Xbox bugs.

Notable gameplay fixes include adjustments to trap behaviors like the Swinging Mace and Molten Gold, improved stacking mechanics for Threads such as Giant Morningstar, and enhanced visual and status effects for elements like poison clouds and Freeze Death. Balance tweaks have also been applied to enemy behaviors, including Ghostfang, Kobold Sappers, and AI pathfinding.

The Thread system has been revamped, allowing players to reroll or skip Thread choices using rune coins, with costs that scale and reset per mission. Many Threads have been combined and strengthened, mutual exclusivity has been removed from several, and “Double Wide” is now classified as a Cursed Thread.
