This week, the InZOI development team is taking a short New Year's break (a three-day holiday in South Korea). Before their break, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim shared updates on highly requested community features, confirming their implementation and outlining the scope of each.

InZOI will incorporate real facial capture technology for creating zois. While previously announced, Kjun emphasized ongoing efforts to further streamline this convenient feature.

Players can look forward to in-game pets, although this feature won't be available during the early access period. A longer wait is anticipated for this highly requested addition. (Interestingly, Kjun is a self-proclaimed animal lover!)

Building heights will be capped at 30 floors, despite the game engine’s capacity for taller structures. This limitation prioritizes optimal game performance.

Gas stations and, importantly, full-fledged fight mechanics will be included. Kjun acknowledged previous feedback regarding the initial "slap" mechanic, confirming its replacement with a more robust and satisfying combat system featuring clear winners and losers.

Finally, a comprehensive tutorial will be implemented to assist newcomers to the genre. This thoughtful addition demonstrates the developers' commitment to player accessibility.

Krafton currently maintains its planned early access release of InZOI at the end of March, with no anticipated delays.
