Tarot Cards are among the riskiest Cursed Possessions in Phasmophobia, but they also offer some of the most powerful advantages—if you're lucky.

For safety, use the Tarot Cards in a secure location, such as near a hiding spot or the entrance. This allows for a quick escape if you draw an unfavorable card, like Death.

Each card activates immediately upon use, unleashing its unique effect. However, there's a chance you'll draw The Fool (similar to a Joker), resulting in no effect. You can draw up to 10 cards without impacting your sanity. Duplicate cards will have the same effect as the original.

Ten unique cards are possible:

The TowerDoubles ghost activity for 20 seconds20%
The Wheel of FortuneGains 25% sanity (green flame); loses 25% sanity (red flame)20%

What are Cursed Objects (Possessions) in Phasmophobia?

Cursed Objects in Phasmophobia

Cursed Possessions (or "Cursed Objects") are unique items randomly spawning in Phasmophobia contracts (depending on difficulty and Challenge Mode).

Unlike standard equipment, which helps locate and identify ghosts with minimal risk, Cursed Objects offer powerful ghost manipulation, but at a significantly higher risk to your character. The risk-reward ratio varies between objects. There's no penalty for avoiding them, nor any bonus for using them.

Only one Cursed Possession spawns per contract (unless customized), always in a predetermined location. For example, the Voodoo Doll always spawns in the Garage at 6 Tanglewood Drive.

Seven Cursed Objects exist: Haunted Mirror, Voodoo Doll, Music Box, Tarot Cards, Ouija Board, Monkey Paw, and Summoning Circle.
