Concord: Ein Helden-Shooter mit einer robusten Roadmap und ohne Battle Pass

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024Concord von Sony und Firewalk Studios erscheint am 23. August und ist ein Helden-Shooter, der vom ersten Tag an einen stetigen Strom an Post-Launch-Inhalten verspricht. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Konkurrenten verzichtet Concord auf das traditionelle Battle-Pass-Modell.

Ein Fokus auf lohnenswertem Gameplay

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024Game Director Ryan Ellis betont die Verpflichtung zu konsistenten Updates: „Wir sehen die Veröffentlichung nur als den Anfang … wie wir das Spiel mit unseren Spielern unterstützen und weiterentwickeln.“ Anstelle eines Battle Pass werden durch den Fortschritt im Gameplay, das Leveln von Charakteren und das Erfüllen von Zielen sinnvolle Belohnungen freigeschaltet.

Staffel 1: The Tempest – erscheint im Oktober

Außerdem wird ein kosmetischer In-Game-Shop eingeführt, der optionale Anpassungsoptionen bietet, ohne die Spielbalance zu beeinträchtigen.

Concords Crew-Builder-System meistern

Ellis bietet Gameplay-Einblicke und stellt das „Crew Builder“-System vor. Spieler bilden Teams aus fünf Freegunnern, die bis zu drei Kopien der Varianten eines Charakters ermöglichen. Dies fördert vielfältige Teamzusammensetzungen, die auf Spielstile und Spielherausforderungen zugeschnitten sind. Durch die Kombination von Freegunnern verschiedener Rollen (Anker, Brecher, Spuker, Waldläufer, Taktiker, Wächter) werden Besatzungsboni freigeschaltet, die Mobilität, Waffengenauigkeit und Abklingzeiten verbessern. Im Gegensatz zu traditionellen Rollen konzentrieren sich die Freegunners von Concord auf hohen Schaden im direkten Kampf, wobei die Rollen durch ihren strategischen Einfluss auf das Spiel definiert werden.
