L'ambition de Remedy Entertainment est de devenir une force leader dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo. Inspiré par Naughty Dog, notamment la série Uncharted, le réalisateur d'Alan Wake 2, Kyle Rowley, envisage Remedy comme "l'équivalent européen" de ce studio renommé.

Rowley, dans une interview sur le podcast Behind The Voice, a détaillé comment cette influence a façonné Quantum Break et, par la suite, Alan Wake 2. Il a explicitement déclaré leur aspiration à être « la version européenne de Naughty Dog ».

Cette inspiration se reflète clairement dans la présentation cinématographique d'Alan Wake 2, louée pour ses visuels époustouflants et sa narration captivante. Le succès du jeu a fermement établi la position de Remedy parmi les meilleurs développeurs européens.

Cependant, les aspirations de Remedy s'étendent au-delà du genre de l'horreur. La maîtrise de Naughty Dog en matière d'expériences cinématographiques en mode solo, illustrée par les franchises Uncharted et The Last of Us (cette dernière étant l'une des franchises de jeux vidéo les plus décorées), constitue une référence claire.

Alan Wake 2, même plus d'un an après son lancement, continue de recevoir des mises à jour améliorant le gameplay sur toutes les plateformes. Les améliorations récentes incluent une nouvelle option graphique « Équilibrée » pour la PS5 Pro, combinant intelligemment les aspects des modes Performance et Qualité.

Ces mises à jour affinent également les paramètres graphiques du jeu, visant un framerate plus fluide et une réduction du bruit visuel. En plus des améliorations PS5 Pro, plusieurs bugs mineurs de gameplay, notamment au sein de l'extension Lake House, ont été corrigés.
