EWC 2025, состоящий в Эр -Рияде, Саудовская Аравия, с 31 июля по 3 августа может похвастаться призовым фондом в размере 1,5 миллиона долларов. Квалификация включает в себя соревнования в шахматном туре чемпионов 2025 года (CCT) в феврале и мае. 12 лучших игроков CCT, наряду с четырьмя победителями «последнего шанса», будут соперничать за призовой фонд за 300 000 долларов и желанное место в инаугурационном конкурсе шахмат EWC.
