New Visual Novel "Together We Live" Explores Humanity

Kemco has released an intriguing new visual novel titled "Together We Live," exclusively for Android, with a compelling narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world. This deep story, which also explores themes of human sins and the path to atonement, is now accessible on Steam for PC players as well.

A Girl Atoning for Humans' Sins

In "Together We Live," you follow the journey of the protagonist, Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room to discover it's the year 4000—almost 2000 years after his last memory. Earth has become a desolate wasteland, and Kyoya's only companion is a mysterious girl tasked with an immense mission. This girl is trapped in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, each time atoning for the sins of humanity. Her plight is both brutal and heart-wrenching, compelling Kyoya to teach her about the joys of life.

The story's pacing may seem slow at first, but as it progresses, the plot thickens with surprising twists and significant details that tie the narrative together in a powerful way. If you're curious about "Together We Live," check out the official trailer below.

Together We Live Makes You Think

Unlike typical visual novels, "Together We Live" does not involve player choices, presenting instead a linear yet engaging story. The art style is simple yet captivating, blending beauty with the underlying sadness of the narrative, creating a profound emotional impact. The girl's character is fully voiced, adding a haunting yet fitting layer to her story. Currently, the game supports English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese languages, but there's no controller support. You can purchase "Together We Live" on the Google Play Store for $9.99, or play it for free if you have a Play Pass.
