BlazBlue Entropy Effect: All Characters Unlock Guide

The character unlocking system in *BlazBlue Entropy Effect* works differently than most fighting games. Players need special items called Prototype Analyzers to unlock each new fighter - except for paid DLC characters. This guide explains how to obtain Prototype Analyzers and details all currently available characters.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect: Character Unlock Process

You'll receive your first Prototype Analyzer automatically after finishing the tutorial. Head right from the Acer Program room to find a glowing platform - interact with it to access the character selection screen. Every additional Prototype Analyzer you obtain lets you return here to unlock another fighter. DLC characters Rachel and Hazama (as of March 2025) unlock instantly upon purchase.

How To Earn More Prototype Analyzers

There are two primary methods to obtain additional Prototype Analyzers:

Story Progression Rewards

Advancing through the story unlocks gray skills at certain milestones:

• After unlocking 10 gray skills
• After unlocking 20 gray skills
• After unlocking 40 gray skills

You'll also automatically receive one after completing a key story event.

Mind Challenges & AP Exchange

Complete Mind Challenges to earn AP that can be traded with the janitor. Each Prototype Analyzer costs 5,000 AP.

A hybrid fighter with strong melee/ranged options and lingering damage effects.

Kokonoe

A technical character requiring effective crowd control usage for maximum effectiveness.

An evasive specialist excelling at enemy control and positioning.

An all-rounder with dodge counters, aerial combos, and crowd control abilities.

Mai Nastume

A technical character whose strength comes from chaining combos together.

Rachel Alucard (DLC)

An overpowered but rewarding character with near-constant screen presence.

Hazama (DLC)
