Праздничная история World of Warcraft: взгляд на праздник Зимнего Покрова

Ежегодный праздник Зимнего Покрова в World of Warcraft отражает наши реальные рождественские праздники, каждый год предлагая игрокам специальные награды и новые дополнения. Недавно выпущенное лор-видео, созданное в сотрудничестве с PlatinumWoW, углубляется в богатую историю праздника в Азероте.

От внутриигрового зарождения до печально известного похищения оленя Метцена, Зимний Покров может похвастаться давней и интересной традицией. Это событие, версия Рождества в WoW, включает в себя уникальные награды и мероприятия, регулярно представляющие коллекционные предметы, золото и многое другое.

Это новое видео, рассказанное PlatinumWoW, исследует корни праздника: гномью легенду о Дедушке Зиме, гиганте, созданном Титанами, оставляющим снежные следы; и традиции тауренов духовного размышления, обновления и благодарности Матери-Земле. Видео также демонстрирует рост «Пастбищ Дымного Леса», предприятия гоблинов, которое коммерциализировало «Зимний Покров», что отражает реальную коммерциализацию Рождества.

Легенда об олене Метцене

Ни одно лор-видео Зимнего Покрова не будет полным без упоминания оленя Метцена, названного в честь бывшего креативного директора Warcraft Криса Метцена. Этот несчастный северный олень пережил три отдельных похищения: пиратами и дворфами Черного Железа в Classic WoW и Гринчем в текущей игре. Видео юмористически завершается тем, что Метцен выражает благодарность голосом Тралла (достойная дань уважения, поскольку Метцен озвучил Орка Шамана).

Это не первое сотрудничество PlatinumWoW с Blizzard.
