Este nuevo vídeo, narrado por PlatinumWoW, explora las raíces de la festividad: la leyenda enana del Gran Padre Invierno, un gigante forjado por los titanes que deja rastros nevados; y las tradiciones de reflexión espiritual, renovación y gratitud de los Tauren a la Madre Tierra. El vídeo también destaca el ascenso de Smokeywood Pastures, una empresa Goblin que comercializaba Winter Veil, lo que refleja la comercialización navideña en el mundo real.

La leyenda del reno Metzen

Ningún vídeo sobre la historia de Winter Veil está completo sin mencionar a Metzen el reno, que lleva el nombre del ex director creativo de Warcraft, Chris Metzen. Este desafortunado reno ha sufrido tres secuestros distintos: por piratas y enanos Hierro Negro en Classic WoW, y por el Grinch en el juego actual. El vídeo concluye con humor con Metzen expresando gratitud con la voz de Thrall (un tributo apropiado, ya que Metzen expresó el Orc Shaman).

Esta no es la primera colaboración de PlatinumWoW con Blizzard.
