Scalebound - The Lost Xbox Exclusive That Could Rise Again

На видео ветеран PlatinumGames с ностальгией обсуждает разработку проекта, выражая неизменную гордость за их работу, несмотря на отмену. Камия усилил ажиотаж, ретвитнув запись с прямым вызовом: "Ну же, Фил, давай сделаем это!" — явное обращение к главе Xbox Филу Спенсеру.

Это не первая попытка Камии возродить проект. В 2022 году он публично выражал заинтересованность в повторных переговорах с Microsoft о возможном воскрешении Scalebound. Слухи набрали обороты в начале 2023 года, когда несколько инсайдеров намекали на потенциальный перезапуск, хотя Microsoft хранила молчание.

На вопрос Game Watch о статусе Scalebound Спенсер лишь загадочно улыбнулся и уклончиво ответил: "Мне нечего добавить на данный момент".

Долгий путь к возможному возрождению

Даже с одобрения Microsoft фанатам не стоит ждать немедленных результатов. Сейчас Камия сосредоточен на возрождении Okami в своей студии Clovers Inc. Любое возвращение Scalebound придется отложить до завершения этих обязательств.
