Обновление Helldivers 2 «Эскалация свободы» воскрешает базу игроков

В Helldivers 2 наблюдается заметное возрождение игроков после выхода существенного обновления «Эскалация свободы». Обновление, которое вернуло игроков в «Супер-Землю», удвоило количество одновременных игроков в Steam за 24 часа, поднявшись со среднего показателя в 30 000 до пика в 62 819.

Успех обновления объясняется несколькими ключевыми дополнениями: новыми сложными врагами (Цепеш и Ракетный танк), невероятно сложным режимом «Супер-Адское погружение», расширенными и более полезными аванпостами, новыми миссиями и целями, улучшенными мерами по борьбе с горем и общее улучшение качества жизни. Запуск боевого пропуска «Военные связи» 8 августа еще больше способствует устойчивому вовлечению игроков.

Однако обновление не обошлось без критиков. В отрицательных отзывах упоминается повышенная сложность из-за ослабления оружия и усиления врагов, что влияет на общее удовольствие для некоторых игроков. Также появились сообщения об ошибках и сбоях в игре. Несмотря на эти проблемы, в настоящее время игра имеет в Steam рейтинг «В основном положительный».

Первоначальный провал игрока: взгляд назад

До обновления у Helldivers 2 было активное сообщество Steam, в котором ежедневно одновременно играли в среднем 30 000 игроков — значительное достижение для игры с живым сервисом. Однако это представляет собой значительное падение по сравнению с первоначальным пиком в 458 709 одновременных игроков.

Этот спад во многом объясняется первоначальным требованием Sony связать учетные записи Steam с PlayStation Network в мае, что фактически заблокировало игроков в 177 странах без доступа к PSN. Хотя Sony отменила это решение, проблема с доступом сохраняется, что влияет на количество игроков в затронутых регионах. Генеральный директор Arrowhead Game Studios Йохан Пилестедт подтвердил, что предпринимаются усилия по решению этой проблемы.
