Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) получил рейтинг M (Mature) от ESRB, что указывает на верный ремейк, включающий возвращение режима «Peep Demo Theater». Согласно описанию ESRB, эта функция, присутствовавшая в версиях Subsistence и HD Collection Metal Gear Solid 3, вновь появится в предстоящем релизе.

Режим «Peep Demo Theater» позволяет игрокам просматривать все кат-сцены с женщиной-шпионкой EVA в нижнем белье, с возможностью свободно регулировать камеру и приближать её тело. Для разблокировки этого режима требуется собрать все остальные кат-сцены в Demo Theater, что demands четыре полных прохождения игры.

Рейтинг M соответствует предпосылке игры, где игрок управляет элитным солдатом, действующим на вражеской территории, участвуя в интенсивных сценах насилия и жестокости. Однако возвращение режима «Peep Demo Theater», часто называемого «жутким режимом», удивило фанатов из-за его откровенного и спорного содержания, которое, как многие предполагали, будет опущено в ремейке.

Упрощенное переключение камуфляжа

Еще одной особенностью MGS Delta является переработанная система камуфляжа, представленная в публикации METAL GEAR OFFICIAL в Twitter (X) 28 марта. В публикации был показан видеоролик, демонстрирующий более быстрый способ смены камуфляжа, с комментарием: «Мгновенно меняйте камуфляж лица и униформы с помощью этой новой функции в METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER».

Кадры показали, что теперь игроки могут менять камуфляж менее чем за три секунды, что является значительным улучшением по сравнению с оригинальной Metal Gear Solid 3, где для смены камуфляжа требовалось ставить игру на паузу, перемещаться по меню и выбирать опции — процесс, который нарушал игровой процесс, особенно во время стелс-миссий.

С приближением релиза MGS Delta растет ожидание ремейка, который сочетает ностальгические функции с современными улучшениями, усиливая общее впечатление. Выход Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater запланирован на 26 августа 2025 года на PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S и ПК.
