WoW Anniversary Event: Unclaimed Currency Now Extended

WoW Patch 11.1 Auto-Converts Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens

Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon the player's first login after the patch's release.

The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used to purchase various items, including revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent wasted currency.

Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will not be used again, prompting this automatic conversion to benefit players who didn't spend all their tokens. This conversion ensures players won't be left with obsolete currency cluttering their inventory.

While a precise release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and following the conclusion of in-game events. This means the conversion will likely take place after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes.

Timewarped Badges, acquired through this conversion, are used in Timewalking events. Players can save these badges for future events, as none of the associated rewards are being removed. Players are urged to log in after Patch 11.1's release to claim their converted badges.
