Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Hero Data Unveiled – Who Reigns Supreme?

NetEase has released comprehensive player data for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. This data, encompassing Quickplay and Competitive modes across PC and console, provides a fascinating snapshot of player preferences before the arrival of Season 1 and the Fantastic Four.

Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the undisputed Quickplay champion, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, when it comes to win rates, Mantis steals the show, achieving an impressive over 50% win rate in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%) modes. This Strategist hero outperforms other top contenders like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The competitive landscape reveals platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger reigns supreme on consoles, while Luna Snow dominates on PC.

Marvel Rivals: Most Picked Heroes

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

In stark contrast to the popular choices, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with incredibly low pick rates: a mere 1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive. This low popularity is attributed to player feedback regarding her underwhelming damage and frustrating gameplay. However, hope remains for Storm, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for her in the upcoming Season 1 balance changes.

The introduction of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, launching January 10th, is expected to significantly alter the meta and these statistics. The arrival of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing mid-season, promises exciting changes to the Marvel Rivals landscape.
