Teardown Adds Multiplayer and Folkrace DLC

Tuxedo Labs has exciting news for fans of their acclaimed sandbox game, *Teardown*. They've announced the introduction of a multiplayer mode, fulfilling a long-standing goal and responding to fan demand. This new feature will first be available on Steam's Experimental Branch, allowing players early access to test and provide feedback on the mode. The developers are particularly keen on hearing from the modding community, as they will also release updates to the game's API, enabling modders to adapt their creations for multiplayer use.

Alongside the multiplayer update, Tuxedo Labs is set to release the Folkrace DLC, which promises to enrich the single-player experience. This expansion will introduce new maps, vehicles, and racing challenges, where players can compete in various events, earn rewards, and customize their vehicles to dominate the tracks.

The multiplayer feature will initially be accessible through the "Experimental" branch on Steam, allowing for thorough testing. Once the testing phase concludes, multiplayer will become a permanent and core feature of *Teardown*. The developers are committed to ensuring that the transition to multiplayer is smooth, especially for modders, by providing necessary API updates.

Looking forward, Tuxedo Labs has teased that two more major DLCs are in development, with more details to be revealed later in 2025. This roadmap showcases the studio's dedication to expanding and enhancing the *Teardown* experience for its community.
