Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings into Action!

September has arrived in Marvel Snap (Free), bringing with it a brand-new season themed around everyone's favorite web-slinger: the Amazing Spider-Season! While Bonesaw remains absent (for now!), this season introduces exciting new cards and locations, headlined by a groundbreaking new card mechanic.

This season's game-changer is the "Activate" ability. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate allows players to strategically trigger a card's effect at any point during their turn, offering tactical flexibility and evading certain counter-strategies.
The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), perfectly showcases this new mechanic. His Activate ability lets you absorb the lowest-cost card at a location and copy its effects, even re-triggering On Reveal abilities. Prepare for some seriously chaotic combinations, especially when paired with cards like Galactus! Expect potential nerfs down the line, but for now, he's incredibly fun.
Let's delve into the other additions:
Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Her On Reveal ability steals two power from the top card of your opponent's deck. A strong standalone, and even more effective in specific deck builds.
Madame Web: (Ongoing) Allows you to move one card at her location to a different location once per turn.

Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Another Activate card, moving the next card you play to the right and boosting its power by +2. A likely staple in move-based decks.
Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) His Activate ability spawns an identical clone at another location. Double the power, double the trouble!
Two new locations further enhance the strategic depth:
Brooklyn Bridge: A classic Spider-Man location, with the unique rule that you can't play cards there on consecutive turns.
Otto's Lab: Reflecting Otto Octavius's chaotic nature, playing a card here pulls a card from your opponent's hand onto the location.

This Spider-themed season introduces exciting new strategic possibilities with the "Activate" mechanic and a fresh batch of cards and locations. Our September deck guide will be available soon to help you conquer this web-slinging challenge! What are your thoughts on this season? Which cards are you most excited to play?
