Rust Unveils Major Update with Improved Cooking, Farming Features

Rust, the renowned multiplayer survival game, has just unleashed a significant update known as The Crafting Update, introducing a wealth of new features to enhance player creativity. A standout addition is the culinary workbench, where players can indulge in gourmet experiences by grilling chicken legs and sipping on Siberian vodka. Crafting these dishes involves following specific recipes, and well-prepared meals not only satisfy hunger but also provide stat boosts and modifiers that can significantly improve gameplay.

The update also introduces chicken coops, allowing players to raise chickens and chicks. These feathered friends require careful attention to their four key attributes: Hunger, Thirst, Love, and Sunlight. Failing to meet these needs can lead to their demise. Chicken meat, a valuable resource, is perishable and must be kept in a working refrigerator to prevent spoilage. Convenient timers on food items now alert players to their expiration dates, ensuring no resource goes to waste.

For those with a penchant for sweets, the wild beehives scattered among trees present a new challenge. Extracting honeycombs requires precision and relocation to player-crafted hives made from wooden boxes. However, handling bees is no easy task; players must don protective suits, use water, or resort to flamethrowers to avoid painful stings. The update also introduces the Bee Grenade, a unique weapon resembling a jar of honey that, when broken, unleashes three swarms of aggressive bees, compelling opponents to scatter in panic.

The engineering workbench has undergone a complete overhaul, now boasting a dedicated tech tree for plumbing and electricity. This innovation empowers players to construct automated systems and even entire factories, revolutionizing the way they interact with the game environment. Additionally, the developers have introduced premium servers exclusively for players whose Rust inventory is valued at a minimum of $15. This initiative aims to create a more refined gaming experience by filtering out cheaters and disruptive players, catering to the dedicated Rust community.
