After a small leak last week, EA has officially confirmed the title of its next Star Wars game, introducing Star Wars: Zero Company. This exciting new title is being developed by the talented team at Bit Reactor, with additional support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn.

While details on Star Wars: Zero Company are still sparse, we do know that it will be a thrilling "single-player turn-based tactics game". Fans won't have to wait long for more insights, as EA has scheduled a first look at the game for April 19 during the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

Bit Reactor, the studio behind this project, is a newly-formed strategy game powerhouse, founded in 2022. The team comprises veterans from renowned titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. Although it was known that Bit Reactor was collaborating with Respawn on a Star Wars game, this marks the first time we've received concrete details about the project.

Regarding Respawn's role, the exact extent of their involvement remains unclear. Respawn has faced significant challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS last year, alongside mass layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.

For those eager to learn more, a live panel dedicated to Star Wars: Zero Company is set for Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For fans in the U.S., that translates to an early morning reveal at 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so be sure to set your alarms accordingly.
