The holiday break is behind us, so let's dive back into the exciting world of gaming news! While we eagerly anticipate updates on the Nintendo Switch 2, today's spotlight shines on a beloved franchise: Like a Dragon. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled new gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its pirate-themed Hawaiian adventure.

The presentation highlighted extensive ship customization, expansive open-sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and a diverse range of explorable locations. A key feature is Goro Majima's dual combat styles: a nimble, speed-focused approach and a powerful style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players can assemble a unique crew of allies, each contributing to battles, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises hidden islands brimming with secrets and original side quests to uncover.

A significant announcement came at the presentation's close: the highly anticipated "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This welcome news follows criticism of SEGA's previous handling of a similar mode in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where it was exclusive to the pricier edition. With the official release just a month and a half away, anticipation is building!
