Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Deep Dive into the Darkhold Battle Pass

NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, offering a thrilling glimpse into a season dominated by Dracula's sinister presence. Doctor Doom takes a backseat as Dracula traps Doctor Strange, prompting the Fantastic Four to lead the resistance. The season launches January 10th at 1 AM PST.

This battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers substantial rewards. Completion grants 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetics or battle passes. The pass includes 10 character skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key feature: uncompleted passes don't expire, allowing players to finish at their own pace.

The trailer showcases a selection of stunning skins: Magneto's King Magnus attire (inspired by House of M), Rocket Raccoon's Western-themed Bounty Hunter look, and Iron Man's medieval Blood Edge Armor, reminiscent of Dark Souls. Peni Parker sports a vibrant blue and white suit, while Namor dons a green and gold ensemble.

Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's aesthetic leans heavily into darkness and gloom. Wolverine's skin evokes Van Helsing, and the new maps feature a blood moon casting its shadow over New York City. Loki's All-Butcher skin is menacing in dark green and black, while Moon Knight's black and white contrast is striking. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple dress returns, and Adam Warlock sports golden armor with a crimson cape.

While the battle pass has generated significant excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. Despite this, anticipation remains high for NetEase Games' next move in this action-packed hero shooter.
