Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Controversy Compensation Offered

Infinity Nikki has announced compensation for the issues encountered in the release of version 1.5. This article delves into what players can expect to receive and outlines the future plans of developer Infold Games to address these shortcomings.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates

Free Diamonds as Compensation

The much-anticipated version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki was released with high expectations, but developer Infold Games acknowledged that they fell short of their promises. In a Twitter (X) post dated May 18, they apologized for the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content" and offered compensation to players.

Version 1.5 introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across various platforms, some of which made the game unplayable. Additionally, the update unexpectedly increased the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces, raising the maximum pulls needed for a complete set to 220. This change made it more expensive and time-consuming for players to acquire full outfits.

A new dye system was also introduced, which players found confusing and cumbersome due to the need to unlock color palettes for each clothing item. The update also saw the removal of the Threads of Reunion storyline, as the associated outfit is still under development. Infold Games explained, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this gesture, the studio has yet to detail their plans for addressing these issues. Players voiced their concerns in the comments, focusing on the pity change, the dye system's shortcomings, and other bugs.

Due to the problematic launch of version 1.5, Infold Games has decided to extend its duration to allow more time for fixes. Consequently, version 1.6 will be delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the release and scheduling of in-game events.

The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set to launch on May 20, will now debut with version 1.6. Infold Games stated, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

Infold Games is actively addressing the broader issues introduced by version 1.5. They mentioned, "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates."

To improve communication with the player base, Infold Games is launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. This platform allows players to directly share their concerns and feedback with the developers via email, using the subject line "Table Advisor," or through the in-game Customer Service option.

Infold Games expressed, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making Infinity Nikki "shine brighter than ever." The game is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. For the latest updates, keep an eye on our articles below!
