Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest nears its conclusion, unveiling lore and evolving combat. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a significant challenge. This formidable dual-sword-wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its form twisted by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is attainable. This guide details how to defeat the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides within the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Located in a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, this domain offers standard rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.

Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss. Alternatively, access it via the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Success hinges heavily on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. While mostly stationary, the boss summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, easier to defeat with Nightsoul Blessing characters.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While possible with other characters, destroying the pillars is significantly faster using Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina. This swiftly counters the Eroded Meteor strike. Immobilizing the dragon for about 10 seconds, act quickly to inflict damage before it recovers.

However, pillar destruction speed depends on the character used. During the meteor animation, equip a shield and switch to a healer. Continuous healing is crucial to survive the corrosion effect, which penetrates shields and inflicts substantial damage. Without a shield, a one-shot kill is possible even at full HP. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are viable alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks is challenging. It transforms into smoke, making tracking difficult. Frantic attacks include sword slashes and smashes that significantly reduce the battlefield, hindering movement and dodging.

When the battlefield shrinks, stay close to the dragon and attack from underneath. However, be wary of the Eroded Dragon Breath, inflicting Pyro and Erosion damage. Strong shielding and healing are essential. If overwhelmed, retreat and wait for the attack to end near its hands, as the breath doesn't reach that area. The dragon also uses sword slashes; heal immediately to counter the Erosion effect.

A healer is indispensable.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Regardless of owning Natlan characters, Co-Op Mode offers assistance, particularly during the pillar phase. Use the 'Match' button to team up and overcome the boss more easily.

This fight, unlike previous Weekly Bosses, lacks multiple phases but demands considerable time and strategy.
