Farlight 84 Unveils 'Hi, Buddy!' Expansion with Pets

Farlight 84 enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new expansion titled "Hi, Buddy!" that's launching today. This update brings a plethora of new features, including the innovative Buddy System, fresh events, and revamped maps that will enhance your gaming experience.

The star of the "Hi, Buddy!" expansion is undoubtedly the new Buddy System. These adorable companions add a touch of charm to the battlefield, potentially softening the intensity of the game. More than just cute faces, Buddies are designed to assist you in gameplay, making them valuable allies.

You'll encounter two categories of Buddies: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, which include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy, are easier to capture and come with handy abilities. On the other hand, the rarer Archon Buddies, such as Time Dominator and Storm Empress, boast extraordinary powers. Time Dominator can manipulate the Safe Zone, drawing it towards itself, while Storm Empress unleashes a formidable tornado that can lift and damage foes over time.

To acquire these Buddies, you'll need Buddy Orbs, which you can find scattered throughout the map. These Orbs aren't just for capturing Buddies; they can also store up to six tactical items, adding a layer of strategy to your gameplay.

The Sunder Realms map has undergone a significant transformation, featuring new terrains, structures, and landmarks. Players can now slide down ramps, take cover in upgraded buildings, and spot quirky sights like giant duck statues and floating boulders, enriching the visual and strategic elements of the game.

The introduction of the Tactical Core system allows players to level up and earn Trait points, which can be used to enhance their hero's skills and unlock new abilities. To fully maximize these upgrades, keep an eye out for Trait Activation Cards scattered around the map.
