"The Exit 8: 3D Liminal Spaces Walking Simulator Now on Android!"

The Exit 8 has finally made its way to Android, blending elements of suspense and exploration. Developed by Kotake Create and published by Playism, this game is available for $3.99. It's not your typical walking simulator; it's infused with a chilling atmosphere that keeps you on your toes with every step.

A Creepy Walking Adventure

In The Exit 8, you find yourself navigating an endless underground passageway reminiscent of a Japanese metro station. You're caught in a loop where everything from the tiles to the lights, posters, and even a solitary man walking towards you repeats endlessly.

Your main challenge? Spotting anomalies. A poster might change its graphic subtly, lights may flicker unexpectedly, or you might encounter something as stark as a river of blood instead of a floor. The game's core mechanic revolves around observing these subtle changes and reacting swiftly.

If you notice something off, you must turn back. If not, keep moving forward. The objective is to reach the eighth exit without a single mistake. This means correctly identifying and responding to anomalies eight consecutive times. Fail, and you'll have to start over.

The Exit 8 Lets You Soak in a Surreal, Unsettling Atmosphere

The game's design draws inspiration from liminal spaces and the concept of the Backrooms. The setting mimics real Japanese metro stations, such as Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station in Tokyo, capturing the essence of claustrophobic corridors and repetitive architecture.

The Exit 8 engages you deeply with your environment, urging you to scrutinize every detail for signs of danger or reality shifts. This constant challenge to your memory and perception makes each playthrough uniquely unsettling.

Initially released for PC in November 2023, it took Kotake Create approximately nine months to develop The Exit 8. Following its launch, the game garnered 1.4 million downloads worldwide on Steam. Now available on mobile, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
