In a statement to Eurogamer, the developer confirmed its independent publishing plans, previously announced during a quarterly earnings call. While acknowledging and appreciating its business partners, Pearl Abyss emphasized its ongoing discussions regarding various collaborative opportunities.

A playable Crimson Desert build will be showcased to media this week in Paris and to the public at G-Star in November. The developer clarified that no official release date has been set, dismissing any articles suggesting otherwise as speculation.
