Despite shifting away from a fixed update schedule, Valve continues to impress with their consistent updates for Deadlock. The latest patch, while not a massive overhaul, certainly isn't just a minor tweak either. You can find a comprehensive list of all the changes on the official forum page.

On January 18, Deadlock introduced four exciting new heroes to the mix, and just a few days later, the developers rolled out some significant balance adjustments. For instance, Holliday's ability, Crackshot, now triggers on units and uses half its cooldown when doing so. Meanwhile, Calico's ability, Ava, gained the power to destroy objects as she dashes through them.

The patch didn't forget about the older heroes either. Kelvin's health saw a boost from 600 to 650, while Vendicta experienced a reduction in bullet speed from 810 to 740 and a dip in movement speed from nine to eight. In total, 11 heroes, including the newcomers, received targeted adjustments to keep the game balanced and engaging.

Deadlock remains in its closed beta phase, with a dedicated community keeping the player count steady between 7,000 and 20,000. As the game evolves, these updates ensure that players have a fresh and enjoyable experience every time they log in.
