Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th

After a brief delay, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been pushed back to January 28th, 2025, to allow for further refinement and polishing.

Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered widespread praise, earning accolades as one of the best puzzle games of the year. The PlayStation port, announced earlier, faced a postponement just days before its intended December release. Publisher Whitethorn Games explained the delay as a commitment to delivering the highest quality experience.

The new January 28th release date was confirmed on January 9th, 2025. Although the date is now set, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders or wishlisting aren't currently possible.

The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. It will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, which offers a separate digital soundtrack, this add-on is unlikely to be available on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor's strong critical reception, boasting an 83/100 average score and a 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, positions it perfectly to enhance the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its charming atmosphere, challenging puzzles, and engaging exploration have captivated critics and players alike.

With its PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available across all initially announced platforms. Balloon Studios, the London-based developer, has yet to announce their next project. January 28th, 2025 will also see the arrival of other notable titles on the PlayStation Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
