Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Updated Rewards in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The excitement continues in Pokemon TCG Pocket with the launch of the second part of the Blastoise Wonder Pick event, introducing a fresh wave of cosmetic rewards that fans won't want to miss. The event shop has been updated to include a variety of Blastoise-themed cosmetics, such as a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a unique Blue and Blastoise playmat. These new items are now available for players to collect, adding a splash of style to their gaming experience. The second part of the event is scheduled to run until January 22, with the event shop remaining open until January 28, giving everyone ample time to grab these exclusive rewards.

Following a bustling holiday season where Pokemon TCG Pocket generously distributed Pack Hourglasses and free boosters to players just for logging in, the game's event calendar has seen a slight lull. However, dedicated fans who have already completed their collections from the Mythical Island booster packs are eagerly anticipating the next expansion, rumored to launch at the end of January. It's worth noting that Pack Hourglasses can be used in future expansions, leading many players to save them up in anticipation.

In the midst of this anticipation, the Blastoise Wonder Pick Event has been refreshed with enticing new rewards, encouraging daily logins. Players with extra event tickets can exchange them for up to 1,000 Shinedust, with each set of 50 Shinedust requiring one event ticket. This gives players another reason to stay engaged and keep collecting.

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Has New Rewards

The first part of the current Wonder Pick Event kicked off on January 6, introducing two new promo cards—one featuring Squirtle and the other Charmander. These cards retain the same attack capabilities as their standard counterparts but come with distinctive artwork that adds to their collectible value. Rewards from the first part of the event, including a backdrop featuring the trainer Blue and a cover showcasing Blue and Blastoise, are still up for grabs. The event also introduced new missions that players can complete by engaging with special Wonder Pick choices.

Completing these missions earns players Event Shop Tickets. The missions involve participating in the Wonder Pick and collecting Fire-type and Water-type cards. For those who haven't yet joined the fun, missions from both parts of the event can be completed concurrently, making it easier to accumulate rewards. The Bonus Pick feature also offers Event Shop Tickets, further simplifying the process of acquiring all the shop items. For those keen on collecting all the promo cards, daily logins are highly recommended, especially given the rumors that these limited cards cannot be traded once obtained.
