Black Ops 6 Gets New Zombies Map

No Amalgams Here

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its round-based survival mode, Zombies, with a thrilling new map, marking it the fifth addition to the game. A sneak peek was shared through the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X (Twitter). The post from March 12, 2025, showcased an image of a grand mansion bearing visible battle scars, with flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and fire erupting from within.

The caption accompanying the image reads, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by a "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a familiar face in the series with a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return in this remake. Observant fans have identified the setting as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, dated February 1991 in the teaser image, aligning perfectly with the timeline established in the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Mode's New Map May Remove or Reduce Amalgams

One of the standout features of this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies, as confirmed by Treyarch on their Instagram account. When a user commented, "cannot wait to feel the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," the developers responded with a simple "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, will not be part of this map, potentially offering players a smoother gameplay experience.
