The scene involves a romance option with Halsin, a druid who transforms into a bear. While initially intended for combat, this ability evolved into a romantic element reflecting Halsin's emotional struggles. This wasn't in the original plan, Welch revealed, but stemmed directly from fan fiction requests for a "Daddy Halsin" romance. He confirmed that Halsin wasn't initially conceived as a romantic interest.
