⚫︎ After Astro Bot's Game of the Year victory in 2024, Team Asobi's studio head, Nicolas Doucet, shared insightful comments at the Game Developers Conference. Doucet emphasized the importance of developing compact, finishable games in an industry often focused on expansive titles.

"From the outset, we embraced the idea of crafting a compact game," Doucet explained. He highlighted that a smaller scope enabled the team to retain full creative control and offer players a game they could realistically complete, an increasingly appealing concept in an age of growing game backlogs.
