Android Release of Lovecraftian Point-and-Click Mystery Unveiled

In a world brimming with video games, finding a truly unique title can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its captivating narrative and intriguing blend of mystery and Lovecraftian elements. This puzzle adventure game offers a compelling story that sets it apart from the crowd.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is fascinating. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, initially pursued a career as a writer and filmmaker. A collaborative game project with a college friend fell through, but the core story remained. Alameen, driven by his vision, independently learned 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, ultimately bringing his concept to life. Even the game's title resulted from a collaborative brainstorming session with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery

My Father Lied plunges players into a captivating mystery steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths. Players assume the role of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old question: What happened to her father? The answer, as the story unfolds, proves far from straightforward.

The game masterfully blends ancient Mesopotamian lore with modern storytelling. Simple point-and-click mechanics ensure ease of play, complemented by stunning 2D visuals and immersive 360-degree imagery.
