FFVII Rebirth erhält visuelle PS5-Upgrades: Square Enix

Die PC-Version bietet nicht nur überlegene Grafik im Vergleich zur PS5-Edition, sondern auch stabilere Performance, was Diskussionen über die Notwendigkeit eines PlayStation-5-Updates auslöst. Derzeit leidet der Performance-Modus der PS5-Version unter unscharfer Darstellung, was Besitzer der Basiskonsole auf mögliche Patches warten lässt. Laut Naoki Hamaguchi, dem Direktor des Spiels, müssen jegliche Verbesserungen innerhalb der technischen Grenzen der Plattform umsetzbar sein.

"Nach der Promo-Veröffentlichung der PC-Version haben wir zahlreiche Anfragen für ein vergleichbares PS5-Update erhalten", erklärte Hamaguchi. "Wir prüfen die Implementierung von Verbesserungen, wo dies innerhalb der Leistungsgrenzen der PS5-Version möglich ist."

Die Community bleibt zuversichtlich, dass Square Enix das Feedback der Spieler aufgreift und die Konsolen-Grafik verfeinert. Während das Entwicklungsteam auf den Nachfolger konzentriert ist, bittet Hamaguchi um Geduld und verspricht, dass später weitere Details bekannt gegeben werden. 2024 erwies sich für Final Fantasy Rebirth, den zweiten Teil der Trilogie, als erfolgreich, mit globaler Anerkennung und mehreren Auszeichnungen. Das kommende dritte Spiel stellt einzigartige Herausforderungen dar, da die Entwickler bestrebt sind, die Zielgruppe des Spiels zu erweitern.

Interessanterweise äußerte Hamaguchi Bewunderung für einen anderen großen Titel - Grand Theft Auto VI. Der Direktor sprach seine Unterstützung für das Team von Rockstar Games aus und anerkannte den immensen Druck nach dem beispiellosen Erfolg von GTA V.
