Эта новая версия, вероятно, является значительным развитием по сравнению с первоначальной демоверсией «proof of concept», показанной на E3 2019.

ACMI проведёт выставку видеоигр под названием «Игровые миры» (Game Worlds) с 18 сентября 2025 года по 8 февраля 2026 года. И, конечно же, посетители смогут сыграть в игру прямо в галерее».

Хотя австралийская выставка намекает на потенциальный период релиза, официальная дата выхода Silksong не подтверждена. Игра недавно была представлена в Nintendo Direct, посвящённом Switch 2, что подтвердило запланированный выпуск в 2025 году. Поскольку выставка Game Worlds завершится в 2026 году, надеющиеся игроки предполагают, что релиз может совпасть с открытием выставки в сентябре или произойти в какой-то момент в течение её проведения.
