Мэтью Лиллард собирается вернуться к Scream 7 , как сообщает Deadline. Известный своей культовой ролью антагониста Стюарта "Stu" Macher в оригинальном фильме о крике 1996 года, фанаты гудят от любопытства о том, как он вписывается в новый фильм. Сможет ли он повторить свою роль Stu, или он возьмет на себя нового персонажа? Лиллард дразнил свое участие в Instagram, добавив к тайне и волнению.

Франшиза Scream возвращает несколько знакомых лиц, а Лиллард присоединится к Неве Кэмпбеллу, которая повторит свою роль Сидни Прескотт и Кортни Кокса. В состав также входят Скотт Фоли, Мейсон Гудинг и Жасмин Савойя Браун.

Путешествие к крикам 7 было бурным. Фильм столкнулся с неопределенностью после того, как звезда Мелисса Баррера была уволена в ноябре 2023 года после ее сообщений в социальных сетях о конфликте в Газе.
