Matthew Lillard wird für Scream 7 zurückkehren, wie die Deadline berichtet. Bekannt für seine ikonische Rolle als Antagonist Stuart "Stu" Macher im Original -Scream -Film von 1996 sind die Fans vor Neugier darüber, wie er in den neuen Film passen wird. Direktor Christopher Landon wurde im Dezember 2023 weiter erschwert und beschrieb seine Erfahrung als "Traumjob, der zu einem Albtraum wurde". Der Film fand jedoch eine neue Richtung mit Kevin Williamson, dem Autor des Original Scream , Scream 2 und Scream 4 , der sich auf den Weg ins Direktorter trat.

Radio Silence, das Regie -Duo hinter Scream und Scream 6 , gab im August 2023 bekannt, dass sie nicht zu Direct Scream 7 zurückkehren würden, sondern als ausführende Produzenten bleiben werden. Guy Bussick, der die beiden vorherigen Filme mitgeschrieben hat, ist zurück, um das Drehbuch zu schicken.

Scream 7 soll am 27. Februar 2026 in die Kinos kommen und ein weiteres aufregendes Kapitel in der geliebten Horror -Franchise verspricht.
