Dragon Age: Veilguard выступил с положительными отзывами от критиков в октябре, но, по словам EA , не смог «резонировать с достаточно широкой аудиторией». Ключевые члены команды объявили о своем отъезде из BioWare в конце января, так как большая часть персонала была либо уволена, либо переназначена в другие проекты в компании.
