Zenless Zone Zero Breaks Revenue Record, Crediting Hoshimi Miyabi

HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending, surpassing even its launch day revenue in July 2024.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's total mobile revenue has already exceeded $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa (the latter offered free to all players), alongside enhanced gameplay, new areas, and game modes. This combination significantly boosted player engagement and spending.

The Hoshimi Miyabi character banner was particularly impactful on revenue generation. Furthermore, the update's sustained impact is noteworthy. Unlike typical post-update revenue dips, player spending remained above $1 million daily for over 11 days, and even exceeded $500,000 per day two weeks after the release.

While undeniably successful, Zenless Zone Zero's revenue still lags behind HoYoverse's other major titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
