New Xbox Game Pass Game Confirmed for January 21

Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup Bolstered by Day One Releases

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat in January 2025, with a strong wave of new game additions, particularly in the latter half of the month. While the initial January releases were relatively sparse, focusing mainly on tier shifts, the second half promises a significant boost.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a co-op and PvP skiing game, leads the charge as a day-one title launching on January 21st. This follows the trend of recent day-one releases being initially exclusive to the Ultimate tier.

The January 2025 Game Pass lineup also includes several other noteworthy day-one additions:

• Eternal Strands: An action-adventure game with strong Zelda influences, arriving on January 28th. Developed by Yellow Brick Games, led by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw, this title is generating considerable excitement.
• Sniper Elite: Resistance: Joining the lineup on January 30th.
• Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector: Rounding out the month on January 31st.
