Pokémon Presents Event Set for Next Week

Author:Kristen Update:Aug 05,2025

The Pokémon Company has revealed that a Pokémon Presents event will deliver franchise updates next week to mark Pokémon Day.

Announced on X/Twitter, The Pokémon Company confirmed the event for February 27, 2025, streaming on the Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm UK.

Details remain undisclosed, but fans are eager for news on the next mainline Pokémon game, which has yet to be revealed. The Pokémon Company has already introduced a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, slated for release in 2025, though the next official "generation" of Pokémon remains unannounced.

These showcases typically cover updates on ongoing titles like Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Expect news on the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game as well.

Last year’s Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled the new Legends game, Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, details on the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s mobile release, and more. Unlike previous years with multiple events, 2024 featured only one Pokémon Presents and marked the first year since 2015 without a major Pokémon game launch.
