Fatshark unveils the next major expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide: "Nightmares & Visions," launching March 25, 2025, across all platforms. This update introduces a captivating new mode designed by the mysterious Seferon, featuring the centerpiece Mortis Trials—wave-based battles within psychic projections from the ship's psyker. Players will experience dynamically varied runs with procedurally generated upgrades and abilities to choose before each attempt.
Exploring these visions grants players exclusive lore revelations tied to the Mourning Star narrative arc. The update also revamps Havoc Mode with fresh challenges, introducing four mutators for heightened difficulty. Ogryn mains can look forward to a redesigned talent tree tailored to refine their combat approach. A limited-time celebration event will coincide with the release.
Additional Nightmares & Visions features will be detailed in upcoming weeks. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is playable now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
