World of Warcraft Patch 11.1: Undermine and Beyond

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermine," introduces the subterranean Goblin capital city of Undermine, a sprawling zone filled with towering structures, narrow streets, and inventive gadgets. But the expansion goes beyond Undermine itself, adding several new subzones.

Key additions include:

  • Undermine: The main attraction, a vast underground Goblin city.

  • Gutterville: A subzone situated in the southeastern Ringing Deeps. Its maroon-colored areas suggest corruption by Black Blood, and it's likely to house Excavation Site 9, one of the new Delves in Patch 11.1. It's expected to provide access to Undermine.

  • Kaja’Coast: A new Goblin encampment on Zuldazar's southwestern coast, near Bilgewater Bonanza. This location may also serve as an entrance to Undermine, potentially housing the drill-like tram showcased in the initial announcement.

These new areas were discovered via datamining of game files. A map of Undermine itself reveals Slam Central Station, the likely entry point, with five visible terminals suggesting additional connections to other locations in Azeroth.

While a precise release date remains unannounced, Patch 11.1 is anticipated to arrive in mid-to-late February. However, players can anticipate early access on the Public Test Realm (PTR) in early January.
