Inferno Dragon Evolution Card Launches in Clash Royale After Nine-Year Wait

Clash Royale has finally introduced a much-anticipated upgrade for the Inferno Dragon. This fiery Legendary card receives a powerful evolution after nearly a decade without an upgrade. To celebrate this milestone, Supercell collaborated with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a special reveal event.

A Fiery Negotiation Unfolds

Nine years after its debut, the Inferno Dragon stars in a new Clash Royale trailer featuring Ismo Leikola as the dragon's eccentric Hollywood agent, advocating for greater recognition.

The dragon playfully abandons its battlefield duties to pursue bigger dreams in Hollywood.

Witness the Inferno Dragon and Leikola's entertaining negotiation at Supercell's Clash Royale headquarters.

The Inferno Dragon's evolved form significantly enhances its combat effectiveness. Unlike the original version that reset damage when switching targets, the upgraded version maintains its escalating damage output for greater impact.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Ignites New Clash Royale Season

The new season, titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution and brings back the 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the ranks.

Milestone Events beginning at Arena 7 offer rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.

Crown Chase #1 provides a Battle Banner with frame and decoration plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with another Battle Banner and 3 Evolution Shards.

To showcase the new Evolution cards, developers have scheduled various Game Modes and Challenges throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs from June 2nd-9th, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge from June 6th-9th offering a Battle Banner and Emote.

Evolution Mayhem (June 9th-16th) allows up to 4 Evolution Cards per deck. Magical Trio (June 16th-23rd) precedes 4 Card Showdown (June 23rd-30th). Evolution Bonanza (June 30th-July 7th) permits up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck.
