Veilguard Unlikely to Release DLC Any Time Soon as BioWare Focuses on Mass Effect 5

Veilguard DLC Unlikely; BioWare Prioritizes Mass Effect 5 BioWare has confirmed it's not currently developing downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection remains open.

BioWare's Focus Shifts to Mass Effect 5

According to Rolling Stone, BioWare creative director John Epler stated that The Veilguard is considered a completed project, and DLC is not in the works. The studio's attention has turned to the next Mass Effect title.

He acknowledged the significant technical challenges involved in remastering the original Dragon Age trilogy due to the use of EA's proprietary game engines. Despite the hurdles, Epler expressed enthusiasm for the idea, leaving the door open with a cautious, "Never say never."
