How To Unlock the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 03,2025

With the latest March 10 update for *Fields of Mistria*, players can now venture beyond the previous altars and unlock the elusive Fire Seal. To do so, you must gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to acquire each item and ultimately unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, is hidden within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is up to date, then delve into the mines, targeting Floors 50-59. We successfully found this gem on Floor 56 after some persistent digging. Remember, these gems are scattered in marked spots on the ground, and you’ll need a pickaxe or shovel to unearth them. Be prepared for some grind time, as these gems aren't easy to come by.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot, a common forageable, can be found in the same mining range as the Faceted Rock Gem, between Floors 50-59. This dark, root-like plant is easily recognizable, and if you're a frequent miner, you might already have it in your inventory. If not, keep an eye out during your next mining expedition; you only need one to satisfy the Priestess’ altar.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the simplest item to collect for your Fire Seal offerings. They're abundant on Floors 50-59 in the mines, where you can break Emerald geodes. If you haven't stored any, mining should quickly yield what you need. Alternatively, smashing large boulders around Mistria can also drop Emeralds, and they're available at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, crafting them is another efficient option.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the last piece of the puzzle for unlocking the Fire Seal. After discovering the seal, meet with Juniper to initiate a quest that leads you to Balor, who can procure the scroll for you—but at a cost. You'll need to gather:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

Chances are, you've already collected some of these, but if not, the mines are your best bet. Once you've collected all required items, deposit them in the bin next to Balor’s Wagon to secure your Sealing Scroll.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to present your offerings. This action will break the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and further adventures in *Fields of Mistria* during its Early Access phase.
