Planning to bring home some video game collectibles from your travels? You might want to reconsider packing any Call of Duty weapon replicas in your luggage.

That's the lesson from a recent TSA advisory about prohibited items. As reported by Dexerto, transportation security officials at Boston Logan International Airport discovered a replica of the iconic Monkey Bomb from Call of Duty's Zombies mode in a passenger's checked bag.

The Cymbal Monkey has been a recurring feature across multiple Call of Duty titles from World at War through Black Ops 6. While this collectible functions as a controller holder with outstretched arms, its explosive-looking design featuring dynamite and wires caught the attention of security personnel.

"While this monkey might help you score points in-game, real-world baggage is no place for weapon replicas," the agency warned. "No matter how impressive or valuable your collectibles might be, replica weapons and explosives aren't permitted in either checked or carry-on luggage."

TSA regulations specifically address toy weapons, including water guns, foam dart blasters, toy swords, and any items resembling real firearms. The attention this particular replica received might actually speak volumes about its detailed craftsmanship.

This serves as an important reminder for convention-goers and collectors. Whether it's an explosive-looking monkey statue or ninja-themed accessories, the TSA maintains the right to confiscate any item they deem potentially threatening - even if it's clearly a replica or collectible.
