Tachyon Medal Unlocks Secret Realm in Fantasian Neo Dimension

Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create an immersive experience. The Tachyon Medal, a crucial late-game item, is central to a challenging side quest. This guide details its acquisition and utilization.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's acquisition occurs late in the game, just before the final confrontation. Progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, situated in the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% health drain), so ensure Kina is prepared for significant healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider using Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amongst the rubble, locate a chest to the right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's functionality requires completing two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and conquering the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, with the first two encountered during the main story:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses sequentially. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One holds the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all chests triggers a glow on the door, prompting use of the Tachyon Medal to reverse time, initiating NG+. Your progress (levels, items, equipment) carries over, although enemies are enhanced. This is less daunting if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
